Thank you for your interest in volunteering for one of the largest and most dynamic Pride festivals in the nation. PrideFest Milwaukee 2017 will be even greater with your help.

General Responsibilities of Volunteers
Security– Patrol the festival, and report any issues to team captain. Scan bags at gate. Assist with security at various gates/stages.
Accessibility– assist festival attendees with mobility around the grounds.
Tickets- Scan tickets with hand held scanner device and welcome PrideFest patrons as they enter the festival grounds
Information Booth– Assist patrons with general festival information, including grounds directions, ATM, restrooms and First Aid locations, as well as entertainment schedule, and any last minute announcements.
Return Hand stamp– Patrons who leave the grounds, are able to return with a hand stamp.
What is expected when volunteering:
- Volunteers will receive one TShirt (TShirt must not be altered, cut, dyed, stained, or altered in any form or fashion while performing the duties of volunteer)
- ONE food ticket per shift (to use on grounds with any food vendor)
- Shifts are a minimum of 4.5 hours
- Parking is NOT included.
- Remember to bring comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the day. Also bring sunscreen if applicable.
- There is not a secure place to store your belongings so please do not bring excessive items during your shift.
- Water will be available for all volunteers.
All volunteers are expected to attend one of our Volunteer Orientation meetings prior to the festival, and may be asked to participate in training sessions with PrideFest Security Department
