A famed personality and household name in the city’s LGBT community and beyond. She has big plans for expansion and is embarking on a journey to win more hearts across the country.
A genuine purveyor of good cheer, Miss Foozie has hosted events at a number of venues, including charity functions, outdoor festivals, variety shows, bingo nights, and theme nightclub parties. Parlaying her local popularity into national appeal, Miss Foozie has made friends coast to coast and caught the attention of many, such as celebrities Mayor Richard M. Daley, Wanda Sykes, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Vilanch, Rupaul, Kelly Osbourne, Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass, and many more. She’s been featured on several local radio, TV, and internet podcasts (Chicago Public Radio, QTV’s “Q on the Move”, CAN TV, Windy City Queercast), plus the independent films “Bowser Makes A Movie (2005)”, “Father Knows (2007)”, “Sister Mary (2009)”.
