Something To Do is a long-running rock & roll & ska band from Milwaukee, WI that has played hundreds of shows, sold thousands of CDs/MP3s and broken millions of hearts.
Horn-fueled and hook-driven, this band has been described as “cool…exuberant…infectious” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and as “diverse and excellent” by DyingScene.com. Last year the Shepherd Express wrote that “Something To Do engages in stylistic shape-shifting; fitting their horns and pop-punk guitars in to the occasional ‘60’s soul motif, but slo-mo klezmer? It works! Something To Do keeps doing music worth hearing”.
In 2015 S2D (which the band prefers to STD because, well, you know) is planning on recording a new album titled “Not Making A Sound” at Howell St. Studios in Milwaukee as well as continuing to play high-energy, memory-making shows around the Midwest. The band is currently nominated for a “Best World Music” Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award and has previously been nominated for “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop/Rock Act”.
Something To Do has shared the stage with many notable acts including The Offspring, Reel Big Fish, The Old 97’s, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, The Bodeans, Patty Smyth, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Gin Blossoms, The Skatalites, and The Spin Doctors.
