ReVamped Dance Company

presents a multi disciplined,  contemporary take on “Milwaukee Hip Hop”.

Under the direction of choreographer, Richard Brasfield, the company includes long term veterans of the Milwaukee dance scene. ReVamped integrates and expands  movement and styles to  exploit local dancers and offer them the opportunity to grow and to inspire them to chase after what they desire through hard work and dedication.

This company wants every dancer to be the proof to our audience that THIS IS POSSIBLE.
Director Richard Brasfield has a decade of experience. Originally, he danced to “vent” and soon discovered his calling as a dancer. As a result, he has been professionally known in the dance community for many years. Between 8th grade until graduating high school, he danced across the country under Dream Cheer and Dance Company winning first place trophies for his unique technique of dance interpretation. With the creation of ReVamped his goal is to make dance a positive outlet for other LGBTQ people.

ReVamped Dance Company’s appearance on the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center Stage offers the audience an interactive program. Company members will demonstrate the essentials of Milwaukee Hip Hop and then ask the audience to join in!
